The surprisingly small East Tyrolean SINGLE household mill packs a powerful punch. With its 90mm grinding stone, it can handle just about anything, from fine whole-wheat flour to cornmeal and coarse grits. Ideal for single households.

Technical Specifications

Compact Dimensions:

At 30 cm high and 16 cm in diameter, the Single Alder household mill fits perfectly into any kitchen without taking up much space.

Lightweight with Big Performance:

Weighing only 7.5 kg, with a comfortable height of 30 cm and an impressive grinding capacity of 120 g per minute, this grain mill is a true powerhouse.

Durable Material:

Made of solid alder wood, known for its durability and beauty, the Single mill blends elegantly into any kitchen.

Efficient grinding technology:

Equipped with a 90 mm grinding stone made of corundum and ceramic, the Single Alder household mill reliably produces consistently high-quality milled goods, from the finest whole grain flour to coarse grits. Its ease of use is a key feature.

Self-cleaning grinding chamber:

By adjusting the grind setting to very coarse, the stone and grinding chamber clean themselves. Corn or large-grain brown rice are ideal for this. Simply add a small amount of these grains to the hopper, set the grind to coarse, and run the mill through it. That’s it. This minimizes maintenance.

Environmentally friendly and energy-efficient:

Made of solid alder wood, with minimal space requirements and easy operation, the Single Alder household mill can rightly be considered extremely environmentally friendly. With a 9 mm stone size and power specifications of 230 volts, 50 hertz, and 400 watts, a high grinding capacity is guaranteed. The energy efficiency of this grain mill is certainly sustainable.

Versatile Use:

The Single Alder household mill is suitable for grinding all types of hard, dry grains. Gluten-free options are also available. The grain mill impresses with its ease of use. Grind fresh every time to get the most out of your grain and enjoy maximum flavor. Its space-saving design makes it ideal for smaller kitchens or single households.

Long Warranty:

The 8-year warranty confirms the quality of the Single Alder product from Waldner biotech GmbH. Top performance, durability, and the satisfaction and positive feedback from our customers motivate us to continuously innovate while remaining true to our traditions.

Conclusion:

The Single Alder household mill – surprisingly small, yet powerful. A must-have for discerning consumers. A symbiosis of design, comfort, innovation, tradition, environmental friendliness and much more. Get the most out of your grain and enjoy your own homemade bread or wholesome meals.

I’ve had my Blendec now for five years and it’s used on an almost daily basis. Over the last few weeks I’d noticed that there seemed to be leaking from the bottom of the jug when blending. Not masses but enough to spray around the base. That’s it I thought - I’ll have to suck it up and buy a new jug. However, looking on the website I realised my jug was still under warranty. I filled in all the details and received a lovely email telling me a new jug was on its way. Super easy to do and fantastic customer service. Thank you Blendtec!

I contacted LUBA for advice to see if my Brod&Taylor FP-201 proofer could be repaired. I have been using it for both yoghurt-making as well as dough for a little over a decade now several times a week. The power switch was becoming a little intermittent and I was aware from past blog and newsletters that the proofer was intended to be repairable.

The same day I was advised that I could send it in for overhaul or I could have a look myself and see if the control panel buttons needed cleaning. While I did need an anti-tamper triangle 2.3mm bit I was able to see that the control buttons were designed using real switches rather than cheaper membranes. A little IPA on the contacts, some rapid pressing then a blow dry and the unit was back to its reliable self.

It is nice to have an appliance that is designed to be repaired as well as a company that is happy to chat to you about it over a decade after you bought it.

Thank you.

I cannot rate these guys highly enough, restored my faith in customer service way beyond my expectations. As a new and nervous sourdough breadmaker I ordered a piece of equipment for setting my sourdough starter. Eventually used it for the 1st time 3 month
s after buying only to find it wasn't heating up properly. I contacted the company late on a Friday, spoke to Tom who advised me to run some tests over the weekend and if still a problem to call them back on Monday. Assured that it wasn't me and that the thing really was defective, I called on Monday morning. No stress, no hassle, I was emailed a return postage label and told they would send the replacement out to me right away. I posted the item on Tuesday. On Wednesdsy I received the new properly working piece of equipment, that is, even before the returned item had been received by them. Guys, you made my day as I have very low expectations when it comes to customer service. Nice to know that companies and service like this still exist!
