The technology – how it works

The worldwide patent-pending technology is based on a specially developed process. Thanks to efficient compressor technology and a circulating air system, cold air of below -30 degrees Celsius flows around the bottle extremely quickly and coldly, extracting the thermal energy from the beverage – forced convection. The bottle rotates during the cooling process, which enables particularly homogeneous cooling, or can be set to stay stationary when cooling bottles with fragile labels or vintage wines with sediment.

Chilling wine to the perfect drinking temperature is no problem with the BEEZER®. Thanks to the specially developed technology, the wine is cooled in a short but particularly gentle way by only circulating ice-cold air around the bottle. No additional aids are needed to cool the wine. After just six minutes, a 0.75 litre wine bottle is cooled to 9°C – perfect for a good white wine. As the cooling can be adjusted individually, the cooling time, the bottle size and the rotation can be adapted to the respective wine. As a rule of thumb for well-chilled wine, the following temperatures can be used as a guide:

Sparkling wine 5° – 7°C
White wine 8° – 14°C
Rosé wine 10° – 14°C
Red wine 12° – 18°C

For even better cooling results, the app offers an Expert mode so you can have the option to configure the presets according to your own preferences. In addition, the LED ring can be configured as ambient lighting, allowing the BEEZER® to blend in perfectly with its surroundings.

You have questions about the BEEZER®? Here we have listed some of the frequently asked questions with the corresponding answers. If your question is not included or not yet answered sufficiently, we will be happy to help you.

The BEEZER® cools between 2 and 4 degrees per minute depending on the size and nature of the bottle. The number of minutes can either be selected via predefined programmes, but can also be controlled individually.

The BEEZER® needs a one-off pre-cooling period of approx. 10 minutes after switching on to achieve optimum cooling results. After this pre-cooling, however, you can use the BEEZER® without interruption. You can select in the app after how long the BEEZER® should go into standby mode or turn off entirely. Perfect if you just want to cool a single bottle or when you know you’ll need it multiple times throughout an evening.

No, unless you really want to and decide to chill the same bottle several times in a row in the BEEZER®, it cannot burst.

Shaking and rotating a can/bottle are very different behaviours, so you you can open up even fizzy drinks immediately after removing them from the BEEZER®.

The rotation we use in the BEEZER® ensures that the carbon dioxide remains dissolved in the liquid and no pressure being built up. By cooling the drinks with the BEEZER®, you even improve the solubility of carbonic acid, as this is higher in cold liquids than in warm ones.

Basically, all bottles with a maximum length of 360 mm and a maximum diameter of 95 mm fit into the BEEZER®. This means that although two wine bottles cannot be placed in the BEEZER® together, two cans can.

The BEEZER® has a power consumption of approx. 250 watts (approx. £0.04-0.06) during the cooling process, in standby the power consumption is significantly reduced and hardly any power is consumed when the unit is switched off thanks to our eco-friendly design. The specially crafted insulation within the cooling chamber keeps energy consumption as low as possible.

The BEEZER® is available in black and white.

Absolutely and in record time! Pop in a glass or two and cool it for just 2 minutes. We naturally can’t guarantee every glass in the known universe can be cooled this way without potentially breaking, but so far we’ve had zero issues.

Absolutely – a plastic bottle is still a bottle; so pop in your favourite ice tea or cola and enjoy it super chilled.

Oh, you meant a huge 2 Litre bottle of pop? The chamber is big enough to accomodate most 2 L bottles of pop – it will just take longer due to the sheer volume of liquid that needs cooling. Just use the app to set a timer for extra ease.
